Privacy Policy
Last updated · May 2026
We collect the smallest amount of personal data we can while still being able to sell you a ticket, deliver it, support you if something goes wrong, and prove who entered the festival. This page explains what we collect and why.
Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
At checkout we collect the email address you give us and the metadata our payment provider returns (a transaction reference, last four digits of the card, and timing). We do not see or store your full card number. On the site we collect basic analytics (page views, device class) to understand whether the page is working.
2. Why we use it
Email is used to deliver your tickets, send you order confirmations, and reply to support requests. Payment metadata lets us reconcile orders with the bank, prevent abuse, and process refunds when they apply. Analytics help us improve the site.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers we need to run the festival: our payment processor, the email service that sends your tickets, our hosting and database providers, and our error-monitoring service. They process data on our behalf, under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal data.
4. Storage and retention
Data is hosted on infrastructure in the EU and the US. We keep order records for as long as the festival runs and afterwards for the period required by Armenian record-keeping and tax rules. Anonymous analytics data is kept for shorter windows.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where the law allows. Email contact@kodama.am with the address you used at checkout and we will respond within a reasonable period.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use a small cookie to remember your language preference and a basic analytics cookie. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers.
7. Contact
Questions about your data, or anything in this policy? Write to contact@kodama.am.
